About
Philip M. Dozier, M.D., FACOG, was born in Columbus, Georgia, and graduated from Indian Springs School in Helena, Alabama. He received a Bachelor of Science and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1977, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he graduated in 1981. He completed his internship and residency at the University of South Alabama in 1985 and began his OB/GYN practice that same year. His special interests include infertility, laparoscopy, endometrial ablations and stress incontinence.
Dr. Dozier is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology, diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Dozier is a member of the American Medical Society, American Fertility Society, American Association of GYN Laparoscopists, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, Alabama Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Houston County Medical Society. He has been honored with the Physician's Recognition Award and was selected as one of America's top obstetrician gynecologists.
