About
Alan Young, M.D., is a board-certified internal medicine physician and a Department of Transportation-certified physician. He earned his undergraduate degree from Birmingham Southern College and his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. During his residency, he was the chief medical resident at Birmingham Baptist Medical Center. In addition to his private practice, he has served as a physician advisor and medical director for many different organizations.
Dr. Young has treated patients in the Wiregrass region for more than 20 years. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his family outdoors and traveling.
